The Hungarian cellist is a prizewinner of numerous national and international competitions, a passionate chamber musician, and, since September 2023, a lecturer for Violoncello at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music Vienna. Dorottya is a member of the renowned young ensemble Oberton String Octet, the Ensemble XXI.Jahrhundert and regularly performs with the Tonkünstler Orchestra as well as the Austrian-Hungarian Haydn Philharmonic.

Dorottya studied violoncello with Rudolf Leopold at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and chamber music with Johannes Meissl at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, completing both master’s degrees with distinction. She has received further musical inspiration from Yo-Yo Ma, Heinrich Schiff, Steven Isserlis, and Gautier Capuçon, among others.
